Back to Burma
The Phinisi liveaboard is returning to Burmese waters for the first time since December 2009 with 7-night and a 10-night itineraries covering the Mergui Archipelago and offering to take divers to the best parts of these scenic islands.
Operator Worldwide Dive & Sail promises pristine, rarely dived sites with spectacular hard and soft corals including “massive seafan forests”, sharks, manta rays and macro life such as tiger-tail seahorses, nudibranchs and ghost pipefish.
It is running introductory trips on The Phinisi with up to 30% off the standard price.

The boat takes 18 divers in seven en suite double/twin, fixed twin or quad air-conditioned cabins.
Like its sister-boat The Junk, it visits the Similan and Surin Islands and the south of Thailand on 10-night Best of Thailand cruises.
As an example of the introductory prices for The Phinisi Mergui trips, the next 10-nighter on 23 March is reduced from US $3400 to $2380.
