Up on Indonesian walls…
Bunaken Oasis Dive Resort & Spa in North Sulawesi, Indonesia, has become the third offering from Best Boutique Collection, which already promotes dive resorts in the Philippines.
The 12-cottage property lies at the end of Liang Beach on Bunaken Island, in the National Marine Park.
Best Boutique says that the PADI 5* dive-centre’s boats can access more than 90 wall, reef and muck-diving sites, while a technical-diving facility caters for deeper exploratory diving.

“Either the resort was high-end, and the diving was the unloved stepchild on the premises, or the diving was first-class but the accommodation was not what we were expecting,” say British owners Elaine and Simon Wallace of their own past experiences.
“So we decided to build a resort where divers and snorkellers are getting the best possible service both above and under water.”
A seven-night package costs US $3658pp (two sharing), including 17 dives with nitrox, airport transfers, full-board accommodation and free laundry service.
