Divers are being invited to join Jodie Roberts on board Emperor Elite from 14-21 September to dive the southern Egyptian Red Sea with the added appeal of yoga.

Designed for all ages and fitness levels, and existing yoga practitioners as well as newcomers, the two daily on-board sessions promise to reveal benefits from controlled breathing to enhanced relaxation to enrich the diving experience.

The first session is free; it’s 15 euros a session after that or buy the full yoga package for 150 euros – 10 sessions, one mindfulness dive and meditation.

The price of £1695pp through Diverse Travel covers flights between London (Manchester can be arranged) and Hurghada (23kg baggage), seven nights in a shared cabin, six days’ diving with nitrox, and transfers.

The 38m liveaboard Emperor fleet flagship has been fully refurbished, with all standard cabins on the lower deck new from the hull up and its 18sq m “Junior Suite” moved to the upper deck to command a panoramic view, says Emperor. The saloon and restaurant have also been extended and refurbished to create more space.

Visiting offshore reefs such as the Brothers, Daedalus and Elphinstone (though without a yoga instructor), prices start at £825 for a week-long South & St Johns itinerary in August.
