Luxury brand Atomic is claiming that its new back-inflation BC2 is the toughest BC in the world.

The bladder is made from polyurethane with double lamination for protection. All metal parts are of premium quality to prevent corrosion, it says, with stainless-steel dump-valves and titanium-coated D-rings.

EZ-LOK quick-install/release weight-pouches are included, along with Atomic’s own ratcheted tank-band.

Lumber pad and deluxe padding are said to make for a good fit.

All this comfort and performance will set you back £1100.
