Wall dives. Swimming along the face of a sheer underwater wall is an awe-inspiring experience. But as visually exciting as a big-picture view of an underwater cliff can be, it can be equally rewarding to focus on the details.

Walls riddled with overhangs and crevices, such as those at Wakatobi, create opportunities for discovery when a dive light illuminates the hidden recesses that might harbour a lobster, eel or any manner of nocturnal critters taking a nap in the shadows.
