Aquaprop Scooter

Sea & Sea is now UK distributor for the compact and lightweight Aquaprop underwater scooter, which is 56cm long and weighs in at 6kg.

It has two speeds and can be controlled with one or two hands, says Sea & Sea, adding that the low weight and ni-mh batteries make it easy to take on a flight. Runtimes are 75 or 50min depending on speed with a nine-hour recharging time, but there is also a li-ion battery-powered Aquaprop L that gives longer runtimes of 200 and 120min and a six-hour recharge. Max operating depth is 80m, and the scooter with charger costs £1700 – or £2300 for the L version.
