The most soughtafter liveaboard dive-trips and destinations are often booked up years in advance, says Dive Worldwide, which has become the only UK tour operator of the new Global Dive Alliance.
The combined buying power of this new coalition of six European travel companies will, it says, enable British divers to take their pick of the best diving at the keenest prices.
Examples of peak-season liveaboard adventures quoted (excluding flights) include:
* August and October 2018 departures to Galapagos aboard Humboldt Explorer (pictured) for seven nights timed to coincide with peak whale shark season from £4195pp (two sharing);
* Eight nights in Socorro in April 2018 (when humpback whales are breeding and calving) from £2545pp (three sharing);
* Seven nights in Palau in November 2018 (timed to coincide with full-moon wildlife spawning events) from £2445pp (two sharing).
