The latest handheld action cam from Olympus is said to be shockproof, freeze-proof and waterproof to 30m.

Back-rolling into the water – by this stage, you want to be sure that all’s well with your equipment.

The 4K video and stills camera has GPS, an acceleration sensor, barometer and thermometer. Images can be transferred directly to a smartphone or tablet using the “Track App”. The camera has an ultra-wide lens with a 204° angle of view, a 1.5in flip-out LCD screen and a powerful LED “headlight”. Available in black or green colour schemes, this action cam costs £279.
