Divers Alert Network Europe have introduced a new service allowing DAN members to call the emergency hotline via the internet.
This makes it now possible to contact the Alarm Centre even when cellular signal reception is poor, and it also allows long-distance calls to be made without incurring excessive costs.
The Alarm Centre can be contacted via the DAN Europe app, directly calling the emergency numbers (international and local) on your digital membership card, or from the webpage dedicated to emergencies.
