Discover UK Diving at Wraysbury

It’s “Discover UK Diving Weekend” at inland site Wraysbury Lake in Middlesex on Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 June, with guest presentations, equipment demos and underwater try-outs plus expert advice all laid on alongside the usual scuba-diving opportunities.

Star speakers already confirmed are diver, broadcaster and all-round adventurer Andy Torbet and underwater photography / post-production expert Saeed Rashid, with more names expected to be added to the line-up.

Suunto Diving UK will be on hand with its whole range of dive-computers, including the recently launched D5, while Huish Outdoors will be showing off a wide selection of equipment, representing the Atomic Aquatics, BARE, Hollis, Oceanic, Stahlsac and Zeagle brands.

Divers in need of advice on anything from equipment configurations to boat charters and places to dive in the UK will be able to access an “ask the expert” area and information wall throughout the day inside the event marquee.

Wraysbury Dive Centre is open from 9.00am and closes at 6.00pm (divers out of the water by 5.00pm). The standard entry fee of £10 per diver applies over the Discover UK Diving weekend.
