Emperor lands in the Maldives

Emperor Maldives, which has until now restricted its activities to liveaboards, has opened its first resort dive-centre at Reveries Diving Village on the west coast of Gan in Laamu Atoll, offering channel drift-diving from a locally inhabited island.

A stay at the resort can also be combined with Emperor liveaboard trips in the southern Maldives.

The dive-centre is located on the beach with access to a shallow, sandy lagoon suitable for beginner-divers. For the more qualified, boat-diving with eagle rays, nurse  and grey reef sharks and manta rays awaits.

Seven nights’  full board (two sharing) with five days’ diving, return domestic flights and transfers costs from £1129pp.

If staying elsewhere on Gan, five days’ diving alone costs from £485pp.
