Global diving equipment manufacturer Narked at 90 has provided vital components in the field of oxygen control and monitoring systems for the new OxVent ventilators to support Smith+Nephew.
The OxVent ventilator is being developed to help the NHS meet the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic by a collaboration of scientists, clinicians and medical technology manufacturers from the University of Oxford, King’s College London and Smith+Nephew.
Currently under review by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Authority (MHRA), the OxVent ventilators order is subject to the design gaining authorization.

Oxvent is the lowest cost device of its type and is now to be shared with other countries where there is an urgent clinical need.
