The Art of Critter Capture
‘Capturing Critters in Lembeh’ is the biggest underwater photography event in Indonesia’s Lembeh Strait, according to tour operator Oonasdivers, and is attended by divers from all over the world.
Alex Tattersall is guest-hosting the workshop in January 2021 at the Lembeh Resort, focusing on macro photography, underwater videography, post- processing techniques and marine biology, for camera-users at all levels.
Alongside group talks, daily individual one-to-one sessions are scheduled to help attendees “push your own personal practice in a non-competitive and supportive environment”.

Packages are available from £1985 for a seven-night/17-dive workshop or £2495 for nine nights/22 dives, and there are also three-night/five-dive pre- or post-workshops from £595 each.
The prices include accommodation in a twin-share garden-view room on full-board, boat dives with nitrox, unlimited guided house-reef dives, a 3:1 diver-guide ratio, daily seminars, a short spa treatment and transfers. Flights are extra.
