Which Dry-Glove Rings can I fit to a drysuit with neoprene cuff seals?

#askmark Hey Mark!! Any recommendations for dry gloves for a drysuit with neoprene wrist seals?
There aren't too many options from what I can gather… Would it be better to just get the neoprene wrist seals replaced with sillicone or latex ones so I can use a ring system?

#askmark Hi mark, i have a multipart question regarding the long hose setup i'm considering. I have a set of atomic regulators, an M1 for my primary and a Z2 octo, configured in traditional setup. Questions are: 1. When i switch to a longhose, do i NEED to put in on the Z2 octo (It's not a fully yellow octo, but it does have yellow tints on it - it also stays in a black hose). They're both similar in terms of breathing, but i'd rather have my m1 primary on it. 2. should i go for traditional rubber hoses or braided? I also considered an miflex xt-tech hose for the long hose? I'm mostly concerned about floatines and "scratchy" feeling with the braided ones. Thank you, Keep up the good work

It’s all me, I prepare, record, present, edit and upload these videos myself.
I learnt all of the editing online, there are plenty of free resources and channels to help learn how to use the software.
I use Premier Pro, it’s not the cheapest software out there but it has a lot of useful tools

Hi mark I’m soon to go diving on a rib boat and have never dived of a rib boat or any boat for that matter so was wondering how do you do a buddy check on a rib boat if you can’t stand up on the rib

It depends on the situation, If you’re diving on a RIB from a larger boat, you go through your buddy checks first and then get into the RIB.
If you’re diving from a RIB from the shore then one diver gets kitted up in the RIB, run through their buddy checks. Then the 2nd diver gets kitted up and then you run through their buddy check.

You can do all of your checks sitting down, and you can either sit on the opposite side to your buddy so that you can see one-another. Or if there’s enough space, you can sit side-by-side, rest the bottom of your cylinder on the tube, and face each other while sitting.

The Sitech ring system can use user replacable latex cuffs too.

I have an OThree neoprene drysuit with neoprene wrist seals and Kubis. It just has the wrist seal inside the wider neoprene sleeve to fit the rings. In several years and a few hundred dives I have never torn a neoprene wrist seal so I’d say they are pretty tough. OThree have a lot of expertise in silicone and neoprene seals, and fitting dry gloves to suits. Give them a call? Whatever the final choice I would definitely get a professional to fit it.

I can not recomend the Waterproof Ultima system enough! If you have silicone or latex wrist seals, they are awesome!!!
