The first piece of kit that every diver and snorkeler should own is a decent mask. A cheap bad mask is just going to mean you’ll have a bad experience in the water. In fact, you can buy the most expensive mask out there and have a bad experience if it doesn’t fit you properly. Mask fit is always more important than any other feature on a mask.
