Join us for an inspiring series of events during World Oceans Week, presented by Divers for Climate!
The Great Barrier Reef is currently undergoing its 5th mass bleaching event in just 8 years and temperate reefs in the south are suffering under temperatures exceeding 3 degrees above average. Climate-driven weather events are further impacting marine ecosystems and the communities that rely on them around the country.
Divers are frontline witnesses to the loss of a world that many people have never even seen. And it's time for our stories to shine.
Discover the untold stories of divers, tourism operators, and Traditional Owners, through our very own Divers for Climate short-film produced with The Undertow Media, showcasing the diverse perspectives of individuals deeply connected to the underwater world. (Watch the trailer here.)
Each event will feature a thought-provoking film screening, followed by an engaging Q&A panel discussion which explores how using your voice and sharing personal stories can influence change.
As always, there will be snacks and door prizes up for grabs!
Seats are limited so get your registration in quick (pay what you feel)! This is an opportunity to connect, learn, and take action for our oceans like never before.
