#ASKMARK Hello Mark, while out diving recently I talked to an experienced diver who was diving with twins but did not have any manifold on them, i.e. each cylinder had a first stage with a primary and an SPG. One cylinder had the low pressure inflator for his BC. What are the pros and cons of a manifold setup versus independent twins?

Well hopefully the front didn’t fall off…
It might have to be towed out of the environment.

#askMark, i can confirm that the boat the Carlton Queen was listing, it had a slight listing when my son and i got on the boat on the 22nd April, the listing gradually for worse on the Sunday. On Monday 24th morning, the first (and last dive we did) the Dive guide used the listing angle of the boat in his dive briefing to demonstrate the angle of the Giannis D and how the angle could disorientate divers.

We all laughed .. 3 hours later it capsized to starboard on calm seas…

The experience was terrifying as my son, me and one other were trapped on the lower deck.

Thank you for reporting this.

Is it just me, or does “DREAMKEEPER” in the picture look like it’s ready to turtle at the slightest provocation?

Thanks Mark great stuff as always. #ask Mark could you do a video on the pros & cons of an smb with a crack bottle. I’m thinking of investing in one so would be good to get your opinion. Thanks again

Let us know if you figure out what’s happening to the SimplyScuba gear! I’d love to grab a cheap Peregrine!

Sounds like the Carlton Queen will be permanently engaged in wreck diving now.

Rumour will have it, that the owner of the Carlton Queen added 1.5 decks more than originally planned. Seems as af it got top heavy and ultimatly capsized.

I‘m just coming back from Egypt and, believe it or not, four days after the wreckage of the Carlton Queen a complete sun deck stranded at the jetty of hour resort. It’s about 200 km south of the place of the Carlton incident and there were no markings on the part of the wreck, but how much stuff like that is drifting in the Red Sea?
