DiverLog+ Walkthrough and Setup For Aqua Lung i330R
#ScubaDiving #DiveComputer #DiverLog+
***** THANK YOU FOR WATCHING *****
Are you using a digital dive log?
I’ll be doing this myself in a few days time…
FW ERROR PLEASE RELOAD, HELP
Dude, quit talking about this like it’s a cheap piece of shit. It cost me $475.00 US dollars with my divemaster discount. If that’s chump change for you then good for you.
Just set this up, thanks. How do I delete those two preexisting dives on Cayman islands though? I can only find how to delete ALL dives, but not a specific one.
Product Recall: Aqualung i330R Dive Computer (2205-0234)
https://www.gov.uk/product-safety-alerts-reports-recalls/product-recall-aqualung-i330r-dive-computer-2205-0234
They fixed the bug. “After the installation of the update, the new firmware revision shall read R1.004 or later.
End users upgrading their i330R themselves are advised to bring it to an Authorized Dealer or local Dive Center to check if the upgrade has been successfully installed.”

If you change devices (such as getting a new phone) and log into the app again, does it show previous data or do you need to back it all up remotely?
I am not sure – and the unit has gone back from testing now. I’d do an FAQ to Aqualung on that one.
muito obrigado pelo seu video, foi muito util meu amigo
All roads lead to Shearwater 🤣
As a diver just getting back into it after 25 years (before dive computers), why do all roads lead to Shearwater?
@Doug Winkelman I don’t have one, but Shearwater computers and the accompanying apps are generally pretty flawless, feature rich and they continuously update software/firmware to keep adding/improving features. It’s just one of those brands that specialises hard on doing few things but really well. They are a little pricier than other dive computers but it’s the ‘buy once, cry once vs buy twice, cry twice’ philosophy and there are few things you want to skimp out on… regs and a dive computer you can trust are some of them, especially if you don’t know what kind of diving you might be doing in the future. That being said, if you’re just recreational diving, pretty much any dive computer will do!
Do you need a separate cable to do a firmware update?
I’ve been using the app for a couple of years now with my i770r and it’s been good to use. As you say, it’s free and does everything I need it to on or at the dive site, even getting the GPS location (if you do your logbook sync at the dive site). When I get home, I do back up the DC logs to Subsurface on my Mac, but Diverlog+ is great for a log book on the go and a library of my certs, and for easily swithing settings such as alarms and depths prior to diving. I’ve not used the phone app to do a firmware update, but I did do it via the PC version and that worked well too.
The app looks great and seems to have pretty much everything covered so what are the additional benefits of the ‘Premium’ version and what cost(s) are involved?…
I didn’t go to far into the paid version as the free version will be good enough for most. It looks like the paid version is a few dollars per year, and gives you access to the dive cloud for unlimited dive uploads, images, etc.
@Scuba Diver Magazine Dive Cloud also allows you to sync the mobile app with the desktop
