Do Miflex hoses need to be replaced regularly? One service tech I spoke to said they need to be replaced every 5 yrs. can’t find anything on their website or brochure about it so I wonder if it’s obsolete news related to the rubber failure issue they used to have?

Hi – can you comment further on the zipper and getting wet? I was using my new Argonaut in the pool yesterday for the first time and ended up with water nearly up to my calves. The neck and wrists were fine so I suspect I didn’t do the zipper properly. The manual talks about waxing for storage, but not prior to the dive. Can you further explain what you mentioned about waxing the zipper before each dive?

Different zips have different procedures and one of the most common causes of leaks is not closing it fully. Plastic zippers have a section right at the end that you need to pull past to seal completely. Many divers feel the initial resistance you need to pull against and stop but, their zipper isn’t fully closed.

Your argonaut probably has a YKK Aquaseal fitted, which should have come with a small stick of zipper lubricant. Apply a light amount to the outside of the teeth to allow the zipper to slide easily

Which version of the argonaut would you generally recommend? The stealth, hybrid, or flex?

I have dived the standard Argonaut, the Kevlar version (no longer available) and now the Stealth. I have to say, the Stealth material is great and it is my go-to drysuit.

The Argonaut is way overpriced in EUROPE.

I don’t believe DUI has a distributor in the UK so it makes it hard to get test products.

love your videos, but why do you use such a … greenscreen? A concrete wall would be even prettier ✌

They were all filmed in a single day. We have moved into a new studio now. I have 6 more videos to put out.
