#askmark what’s the metal grids behind you that you can hang equipment called?
Bloody Marvelous
What are the best regs for ice diving?
Is there a depth limit for regulators to which they're tested? Not that I'd ever get anywhere close to those limits, but asking since Nuno Gomes had a 1st stage failure in his world record attempt at 280m.

#askmark How many times have you started a video shoot with “Hey everyone, welcome to Simply scu.. oh damn.. Let's take this again” since you switched to New channel

#askMark What diameter capillary tube do you recommend please
Ya Lara
Can you recommend the best kinds of neoprene adhesive for wetsuit repair? Do you prefer aquasure FD, aquaseal, or black witch? Or just needle and thread? Thx #askmark

#askmark hello mark 1st of all love ur videos very informative.
Am new to diving so I got the mares 15x rover regulator I would like to know what other mares 2nd stage compatible with the 15x.
#askmark hello! so to be clear. I have been using an Oceanic Alpha 10 Octo with my Atomic B2. Is this not good? Frowned upon? Or is it just a warranty thing?
It should be perfectly fine. It’s just tricky sometimes to get them both serviced at the same time at some dive centres. And there is a chance that some combinations could affect the performance of the regulator.
@Scuba Diver Magazine ok Perfect. Just had mine serviced by an Atomic Dealer and was not told anything so i guess all good! Thank you!
#askmark,hi mark can you advise on o ring kits for use on general air components, regs, bcds, cylinders etc please
Sure, when you’re starting out the two most common sizes you’ll need are 111 and 112. Those are standard Cylinder O-Ring sizes that are handy for spares and come in most scuba O-Ring packs. There are others that can be handy but those two are the most common that you’ll need
Thanks for reply, what scuba o ring packs do you recommend cheers
Hi Mark, #askmark, I was wondering if you’d consider doing a video or two on different customizations you make to your dive computers. Since you can change what’s displayed in different sections on the shearwater computers, I was curious how yours are configured. Specifically I’d be curious what your perdix/petrel looks like in OC Tech mode. Thanks!
#ASKMARK Hi Mark I’m looking for a 15m spool either Apeks lifeline or the scubapro s tec any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Hi Mark. I’m looking for 15m spool either Apeks lifeline or the scubapro s-tec spinner. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks Jason
#askmark. Mark, on a different channel you reviewed the Santi Flex 190 drysuit undergarment. I liked what I saw and bought it for my first drysuit experience. In a 7mil with a Steel 100 tank I normally dive with 18lbs of lead (8kilos). With my drysuit and the Santi it is taking me 38lbs (17 kilos) to get barely negative! This sounds excessive but I don’t know anyone who uses this undergarment. Can one undergarment like this require 9 kilos? If not, any thoughts on why I would need so much extra weight when switching from wet to dry?
Again enjoyed the show 👍
Hi mark thanks for the lovely explanation.
I will download the user manual. And see what they recommend.
Hi Mark, congratulations on your move from Simply.
I think you have both of them, so can you fit an Apek’s WTX wing on an Xdeep Zen backplate?

#ASKMARK Buying a 12ltr scuba tank (e.g. Faber steel cylinder)… I have an option for Air or Nitrox, if I want to use say standard Air fill (21%) and then sometimes up to say 36% Nitrox fill. Do I need to specify an Air or Nitrox tank. Can I use one tank for both Air and up to 36% Nitrox and what does the cylinder need to be (Air or Nirtox). If I buy an Air tank can I switch to anything below the 40% Nitrox or do I need Nirtox tank when buying? Or do I need it cleaned for certain fills below %40
Hi Mark I’m a newly qualified open water diver and me and my wife are looking for our first bcd and regs can you advise us on this minefield pls many thanks rob
