What do you think about the quick buckle / clamp style cam bands like the Apex Grip-Lock?
I’m ok with them, the GripLock is probably the best right now because it has the finger saver feature, so your fingers don’t get pinched.
Once the velcro is set up right it’s really easy to swap tanks.
I have this and its great, although you have to be careful not to get the velcro to tight otherwise its tough to get it open. Otherwise it’s definitely a 8/10 for ease of use and functionality.
@Scuba Diver Magazine I’ve got it as well which is why I asked Mark for his take on it. It is very nice on a boat for sure.
I have the scuba pro sea hawk. Ratchet clamp bites my hand all the time
@scott mcneill I’ve got the Aqualung GripLock ones and it has a “soft spot” where it stops just prior to closing all the time specifically for that reason
