Just ordered mine, can’t wait to take it out for a dive! Not having AI isn’t an issue for me, since I’ve never needed it or used it ever in the past two years of diving.
I’ll get a Perdix AI when I start tec diving, and use Peregrine as a backup

I’d like it as a backup computer for tech dives. But did I hear you say it supports Nitrox only up to 40%? Wish they’d gone up to 50%, the standard deco mix for tech divers.

No AI is a terrible decision by Shearwater…
No AI is ridiculous. Majority of new dive computers have it. It can be a safety feature for divers and some computers roughly the same price have it. To me it’s simple. You add AI and keep the price the same, people who want AI buy a transmitter which throws more money at the company, those who don’t.. don’t. My suunto eon core has it and I got it on a deal that was about the same price.

@richard Slater I am glad they did not put AI in Peregrine, it would increase the price of this very basic and attractively priced DC.
As mentioned..They could keep the price the same and recoup the money through the selling of the transmitter.
I feel like they really fucked up by not including the ability to use AI. Everyone wants it, look how well the Quad Air sold. I do however really love the price, color display and console style. Nb4 I’m not saying AI should be included but an option for add on later.
