#AskMark, I know you’re working on the finishing touches for your review of the Seal dry suit. If there’s still time for content, could you discuss if having a replaceable collar sister is truly necessary for the average diver? I’ve been looking into the specs in anticipation of your review and was wondering how much priority I should place on replaceable collar systems.
They have their pros and cons. For me, I like the ability to change a seal in seconds rather than days. If you accidentally rip a seal before a dive then you’ve wasted an entire day and you need to be without your drysuit for a while.
It’s not essential, and some divers prefer other neck seals but, personally I like them.
