In the thick of the action
There’s a new player in divers’ happy hunting ground of the eastern Pacific, now that Aggressor Adventures has added a 24th dive-yacht to its roster – in the shape of the 41m Socorro Aggressor.
The liveaboard will take up to 26 guests to Guadalupe Island for cage-diving with great white sharks – when it isn’t heading out to Socorro, San Benedicto and Roca Partida – the esteemed Revillagigedo Islands

Guadalupe is a four-night excusion embarking at Ensenada, Mexico, while the other itinerary is an 8-night trip running out of Cabo San Lucas.
Depending on the time of year at Socorro, divers can hope to spot giant manta rays as well as bottlenose dolphins, humpback whales, or an array of sharks including whale, tiger, silky, silvertip and whitetip. Prices for the Guadalupe itinerary start from US $3395, and for Socorro from $3495.
Meanwhile, in partnership with the Sea of Change Foundation, Aggressor Liveaboards says it is expanding its “Green the Fleet” sustainability Programme. The fleet is in the process of phasing out single-use plastics, and details of a range of initiatives relating to individual liveaboards are available on its website.
