Visit Birmingham – dive the World!
A world of dive-travel opportunities will be on offer to visitors to DIVE 2019, at NEC Birmingham this coming weekend (26/27 October).
In addition to the Caribbean Village, Asia-Pacific Showcase and British Isles Experience themed zones, tempting offers to every imaginable dive hotspot around the globe will be on offer at exhibition stands around the show hall.
In particular, many visitors will be keen to find out more about the lifting earlier this week of the four-year ban on UK flights to Sharm.
Latest news on this will be available from tour operators and dive centres across the show floor – and from the Egyptian State Tourist Office (stand 580).
The Ocean Theatre will be the place to get an overview from local experts worldwide, with presentations on destinations ranging from the Med to Truk Lagoon.
And dive-travel is also centre-stage in the DIVE 2019 Grand Draw. Free to enter for all show visitors, this promises an amazing dive holiday worth £8000 in Indonesia (pictured) for one lucky winner and their buddy.
The biggest annual UK event for scuba divers, DIVE 2019 will also feature attractions including the New Products Showcase, TekDeck, PhotoZone and try-dive and rebreather pools. Dive-gear and training opportunities will abound among the 150-plus exhibition stands.
Opening times are 9.30-6.00 on Saturday 26 October and 9.30-5.00 on Sunday 27 October.
