Divers heading to the southern Egyptian Red Sea are set to benefit from additional and conveniently timed flights to Marsa Alam from November. Those from Birmingham depart Mondays, and from Gatwick on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Marsa Alam provides access to the dive-resorts at El Quseir, Marsa Alam, Shams Alam and Hamata, and to liveaboards operating from Port Ghalib on Thursdays.
To combine with these flights, Regaldive is offering £33-a-day diving with Emperor Divers in Marsa Alam between 20 November and 25 March, 2018, and a 5% discount on sailings on the Emperor Asmaa liveaboard (pictured) between 15 December and 19 April.
Bookings have to be made before the end of August.
