This handheld light has an anodised aluminium body and boasts an output of 260 lumens from its single Cree XPG LED.

Back-rolling into the water – by this stage, you want to be sure that all’s well with your equipment.

The torch has three power settings plus a flashing mode and is powered by three AAA batteries to give a claimed burntime of three hours. Magnetic switching and double O-ring seals give the Compact II a depth rating of 100m. The torch costs £45.
