#askmark I recently signed up for my scuba class and I realised the tank is really heavy on my back and with the BCD I was given gets uncomfortable with all the weight. Do you know if there is anything I can do to make it more comfortable?

Hi #askmark I’m not sure why you left the format of longer videos, probably part of the marketing strategy to gain a younger audience, more clicks etc Looks like you even had more views per video when they were longer. Maybe now you’re getting more overall views / clicks etc per video. Has Shaun been doing some covert work.
Anyway, is there any chance you can put the shorter videos all into one at the end of every week? Omnibus edition? Just for us older people who don’t like a change in routine and can just put it on in the background. I don’t check the site now or view as many videos; whereas before I would put it on and pick up some useful tips. Sounds like I need to get an emotional support bolt snap now. Any, just some feedback. As I head over to diversready and divetalk.
Just experimenting, we have been thinking about a weekly or monthly omnibus so, that might happen before long.
Technically it is better for the casual viewer but yes, I probably will be rendering a longer version similar to what it used to be.
#askmark Adding onto a BCD (jacket style) being possible uncomfortable, I recently got my own kit along with all the advised safety items: DSMB+spool, safety knife, compass, whistle, Flashlight and a gopro+rig And I feel like I’m just a mess with everything being attached to my BCD. I want to try to streamline my setup but I’m not sure how to best go about that while keeping the safety items at hand for when you might need them.
Thigh pockets are your friend. I find BCD pockets tough to keep tools in and reach so, when I’m diving I store equipment that I’m not using in the thigh pockets of my drysuit or tech shorts.
