The age-old question of where to go for your scuba diving vacation, and which is better scuba diving from a liveaboard, or hitting up the dive resorts for a better all-round experience.
Oh and liveaboard if it’s a pure diving holiday. Far higher dive density.

Liveaboard. More diving. Was in Socorro last month. Resort diving is a few dives in the morning and pool/drinking the rest of the day away. Not my style. I find the group bonds more and has a great time on the LAB. I will travel solo to a LAB anytime.
I’ve been scuba diving my entire professional career in both beautiful crystal clear waters of the Tropics to the not-so clear waters around the world. Diving up in the Arctic Circle and marine conservation work down in remote Madagascar. As a full-time scuba Instructor I taught divers in both warm and cold waters and lead countless dives.
But, my main specialty is dive equipment. Since 2010 I’ve been working with a wide range of scuba diving brands and 8 years working for one of the largest scuba diving retailers with hands-on experience with cutting edge dive equipment.
Which do you prefer?
Liveaboards. I get the best sleep on on the boat and not having to change gear on and off tanks is amazing.
Liveaboards….no contest. Able to access more remote locations, 4 dives per day, lots more fun with the right crowd
Adore the content.
But the one improvement that would be fantastic would be a lil clip on lapel microphone or something.
Keep up the good work!
