We are proud to be an eco-conscious resort, and strive to reduce our footprint in everything we do! To name a few things we are doing:
Collection of water from rainfall and groundwater for use in the resort, marina, pool and gardens On-site water treatment plant to make collected water usable for everyday use. No chemicals are used in the process On-site grey and black water treatment.
Grey and black water are broken down using natural bacteria and PH value is monitored before being released. Use of solar panels to heat water for use in the resort. Heated water is stored in a heat-retaining system. Low emission Perkins generator sets are used at the resort. Energy-efficient light bulbs are used throughout the resort to reduce energy consumption.
