This is your final chance to enter the Ocean Photographer of the Year 2022 competition, with the deadline being 11.59pm on Thursday 30 June.
The Ocean Photographer of the Year has a simple mission – to shine a light on the beauty of the ocean and the threats it faces, all while raising money for its protection.
The competition is an opportunity for all ocean photographers – divers, surfers and sailors alike – to share their art with the world. In 2021, winning photographs reached more than a billion people. Nine categories will be judged in 2022, including several new categories.

Winners, including the overall winner – the Ocean Photographer of the Year 2022 – will be announced in September. A stunning London exhibition will follow, where all winning images will be put on public display. The exhibition will be free to visit. Last year’s exhibition was enjoyed by more than a million people.
The full judging panel, including two new judges for 2022 (David Doubilet and Sadie Quarrier), is Paul Nicklen, Cristina Mittermeier, Shawn Heinrichs, Andy Mann, David Doubilet and Sadie Quarrier.
The Ocean Photographer of the Year 2022 is produced by Oceanographic Magazine, in partnership with Blancpain, Princess Yachts and Tourism Western Australia, and in support of SeaLegacy.
