In episode 14 of Beyond the Standard – a series of VLOGs in which industry guru Tec Clark focuses on developing the leadership and business skill sets of dive professionals – he looks at ‘in-service training’ and why it is so beneficial.
Tec explained: “Most dive professionals think they are fine with their rescue skills as long as they keep current with their certifications, or teach a few Rescue Diver classes. However, that’s wrong. ‘In-service training’ is where staff will grow through the varying challenges of realistic scenarios, and it is essential to dive professionals’ performance.”
