Mares has today launched its innovative new app, which contains a host of features designed to complement your diving adventures, all from the palm of your hand.
The app features a digital logbook, so you can log your scuba, freediving, extended range and rebreather (SCR/CCR) dives in seconds via Bluetooth, and with the help of the Mares dive site database, you can immediately assign a dive site to your logged dives. You can also add your own dive sites and share them with your dive buddies using a QR code, plus you can download your dive data directly from selected Mares dive computers.
To add further detail to your logs, a variety of local wildlife is already stored in the app, which means you can assign the highlights of your underwater encounters to your logged dives.
You can also add your dive buddies via QR code or manually in the app.
The Mares app also allows all your dives and date to be seen at a glance, including your longest or deepest dive, your average dive time, and much more.
The app also lets you store important dive equipment details, including serial numbers, photos and invoices, as well as enter maintenance dates to keep track of when your gear needs servicing.
Via the app, you can confirm you have the latest firmware on your Mares dive computer, and via stories and videos you can keep up-to-date with all of the latest news from the world of watersports and diving.
The Mares app is available for Android and Apple, and can be found in the app store.
