The Scout Association has joined forces with PADI to offer 10-14 year old scouts the opportunity to complete a Discover Scuba Diving session – and become Scuba Scouts!
Scuba Scouts seeks to inspire a new generation of ocean adventures and advocates, and those wishing to take part can book a PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience at their local PADI-approved Youth Training Centre for the special price of £20 per person until June 2024.
Scout Association ambassador Steve Backshall – himself a keen diver – is backing the programme, which will take two to three hours to complete. No prior experience is required.
The Discover Scuba Diving session isn’t a qualification, but those who get bitten by the scuba bug and want to take it further can apply this experience to a full PADI Open Water Diver certification.
