Although it has been a tough few years Dive Planet have opened there new dive centre on Mafia Island off the Coast of Tanzania
Mafia island,Tanzania is the southernmost of the islands in the Indian Ocean belonging to the Zanzibar archipelago. The coral reefs that surround the island are a paradise for divers and snorkelers, not least because of their sheltered location and the many small nearby islands.
The island’s underwater world, which is still intact, is protected by the Mafia Island Marine Park.
Under these perfect conditions, we started in 2021 with the constructions of our dive center including a training pool and initially two bungalows for accommodation of our guests.
On July 6th 2022, we officially opened our new dive center and since then we took care of quite a few enthusiastic divers
