Yes, it is that time of the year again, as keen underwater photographers get ready for the annual Splash In competition at the Berwickshire Marine Reserve, which in 2022 is taking place on Saturday 20 August.
There are four categories – Atmospheric, Marine Life, Scenic Images (Above the Water), and Macro (Below the Water). The entry fee is £15, and includes guest speakers (including Andy Colls, talking about the Wonders of Wolf Fish) on Friday 19 August (World Photography Day) and a BBQ on the Saturday in the Anchor Pub.

This year’s event is in memory of Bob Clay, who was an avid supporter of the event, and a big loss to the BMR.
