Visitors to DIVE 2016 will have the chance to see a scintillating line-up of diving speakers on the main DIVER Stage.

Guest speakers at the show, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 22/23 October, will include Monty Halls, Dawn Kernagis, Mark Powell, Paul Rose, Andy Torbet and Andrea Zaferes. And topics will range from ‘wilderness’ diving to iconic wrecks.

Monty will be re-living a year spent diving and filming around the world; Dawn's subject will be “8 days in NASA's Undersea Habitat”; TDI/SDI Instructor Trainer Mark Powell’s will be “Are You Fit To Dive?”; Paul will be describing “wild dives” in some of the world's remotest locations; Andy will be focussing on the 2016 expedition to dive the 120m-deep Britannic, sister ship to the Titanic; and US-based underwater investigator Andrea Zaferes will be describing “Scuba Fatalities: Recovery, Investigation, Lessons”.

Other must-see DIVER Stage presenters include Marcus Greatwood (“Extreme-Location Freediving”); Helen Hadley (“Ups and Downs on a UK Dive Liveaboard”), and David Jones (“Offshore Cave Diving in Belize & WW2 Wrecks of Narvik”).

The UK's biggest and most popular event for divers, DIVE 2016 will feature around 200 companies offering diving gear, holidays and services.

There will also be many special attractions. These include the new TekDeck, two in-hall diving pools, the popular PhotoZone, the British Isles Experience, the Asia-Pacific Showcase and the Caribbean Village.

And for those with training as well as travel in mind, experts from the likes of PADI, BSAC, SSI and SAA will be offering guiding hands throughout the weekend.

There will also be a free-to-enter draw for all Show visitors to win an 18-day trip to the Philippines worth £8000.

DIVE 2016 opening times are 9.30-6.00 on Saturday 22 October and 9.30-5.00 on Sunday 23 October.

Tickets cost just £9.50 per person if booked in advance (a saving of £5 off the on-the-day price of £14.50).
