From ‘wilderness diving' to iconic wrecks

Visitors to DIVE 2016 will have the chance to see a scintillating line-up of diving speakers on the main DIVER Stage.

Guest speakers at the show, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham on 22/23 October, will include Monty Halls, Dawn Kernagis, Mark Powell, Paul Rose, Andy Torbet and Andrea Zaferes. And topics will range from ‘wilderness’ diving to iconic wrecks.

Monty will be re-living a year spent diving and filming around the world; Dawn's subject will be “8 days in NASA's Undersea Habitat”; TDI/SDI Instructor Trainer Mark Powell’s will be “Are You Fit To Dive?”; Paul will be describing “wild dives” in some of the world's remotest locations; Andy will be focussing on the 2016 expedition to dive the 120m-deep Britannic, sister ship to the Titanic; and US-based underwater investigator Andrea Zaferes will be describing “Scuba Fatalities: Recovery, Investigation, Lessons”.

Other must-see DIVER Stage presenters include Marcus Greatwood (“Extreme-Location Freediving”); Helen Hadley (“Ups and Downs on a UK Dive Liveaboard”), and David Jones (“Offshore Cave Diving in Belize & WW2 Wrecks of Narvik”).
