Halcyon Dive Systems has launched a limited-time Symbios Instructor Programme, offering qualified dive-instructors discounts of around 40% on selected products until the end of August this year.
The programme is designed to encourage instructors to incorporate the Symbios ‘ecosystem’ into their teaching, exploration and everyday diving.
“Symbios was developed to make critical information easier to access, improve situational awareness and create a more connected diving experience,” says operations & training manager Dimitris Fifis.
The Symbios family of wirelessly connected products is said to provide quick and intuitive access to dive information such as gas supply, battery status, oxygen concentration, dive position and buddy data.
The Symbios Silver Handset and HUD models provide connectivity with the Symbios Rebreather, while the new Symbios BLUE Handset Computer offers compatibility with Symbios Tank Pods and accessories for open-circuit divers.
