The Bahamas does now not require fully vaccinated adult travellers to submit a Travel Health Visa Trip application, or provide a negative COVID-19 test, for entry into, and inter-island journeys within, the country.

The archipelago is a dive hotspot, home to the likes of Stuart Cove’s Dive Bahamas, Neil Watson’s Bimini Scuba Centre, and liveaboards like the Aqua Cat and the Blackbeard‘s boats, and this easing of restrictions as we head into the summer months is a very welcome development.

Non-vaccinated visitors aged 12 and over must still provide proof of a negative COVID PCR test taken no more than three days prior to the date of arrival. Children aged 2 to 11 inclusive are required to present a negative COVID-19 test (either a Rapid Antigen Test or PCR) taken no more than three days prior to the date of arrival.
