Divers remove 7 tons of rubbish from the Egyptian Red Sea

In Egypt, diving tourism and other watersports may currently be on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but a group of divers in Dahab made the most of the enforced ‘down time’ to go on a clean-up dive in the Red Sea.

The divers, working in co-ordination with the local authorities, managed to raise an impressive seven tons of debris from the seabed.
