3 Ways to Go Underwater in the Maldives (Even if You’ve Never Dived)

Snorkelling is incredible… until a leaky mask, a sore jaw, or a bit of water down the throat turns it into a frustrating mess.

In this video, I’m running through the most common beginner snorkelling mistakes and, more importantly, the simple fixes that make your next session calmer, safer, and way more enjoyable. We’ll cover mask fit and hair in the seal, how to wear a snorkel mouthpiece properly (without chewing it to death), breathing slowly to avoid that “air hungry” feeling, clearing your snorkel after a splash or duck dive, efficient fin kicking and fin fit, sun protection that actually works on the water, staying oriented so you don’t drift off, protecting coral (and yourself), and the quick safety checks/signals that prevent small problems becoming big ones.
